Archery Saloon

The hunting hall was furnished by the ancestors of the current owner family as it can still be seen today. The original use of the room was for the family to dine. The late Gothic wooden ceiling is artfully decorated with ridges, in which a secret staircase is cleverly hidden. This secret escape staircase leads from the private rooms of Emperor Maximilian through the hall and directly into the open air.

Set tables in the hall show the table culture of that time and the perfectly shaped column is made of Hagau marble.

The hall was artistically designed by Anton Steger, with carved, life-size depictions of local animals and a group of hunters, showing Count Franz Enzenberg and his hunting guest Archduke Franz-Joseph.
