Our opening hours.

Our Tratzberg Castle is currently closed!

Like every year between November and the beginning of April, we treat our fairytale castle to its well-deserved winter rest. We will open again on April 2nd, 2023 and look forward to your visit!

In the high season (June, July, August) we are open Monday – Sunday, daily from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. The last guided tour starts at 4 p.m. each day. In April and May as well as September and October we are closed on Tuesdays! These opening hours apply between April 2nd, 2023 and November 5th, 2023!

Times of the guided tours:

Visiting Tratzberg Castle is only possible with participation in a guided tour. A “free” exploration of the castle is unfortunately not possible!

Our tours usually start every 20 minutes. Please understand that we cannot give fixed starting times for tours. We are as flexible as possible according to the current number of guests and try to keep waiting times short.

Note: For organizational reasons, only a maximum of three tours per hour are possible, which can lead to waiting times on busy days.

Important tips for your visit:

Especially during holiday periods, on weekends and on “less nice” days, Tratzberg Castle can be very crowded. Waiting times of more than an hour are then possible. If possible, plan your visit in advance at the following times:

In order to avoid unnecessary waiting times, we also recommend that you purchase your tickets in advance conveniently and easily via our online shop. This is how you secure a fixed visit window. Online booking is possible up to 24 hours before your visit!
