Queen’s Chamber

True splendor of the High Renaissance flourishes in this room. The special ceiling design, which was artistically executed from many patterns with carving and inlays in a wide variety of woods, is based on a noble marble column.

The precious wall covering can be found in this room in its original condition from 1560. Admire the oriental jewelry cabinet, the house altar, slate tables and the magnificent “five-senses tiled stove” (around 1620) from Georg Fest’s Nuremberg workshop.

A secret door is also hidden in this room. Can you find it?
